June is a special month for our family, and the reason for that is that was the month we were sent down to Mexico to plant the church! It was the end of June 2002 when our family left California to move to Rosarito to plant the church. And this month our church celebrated 23 years of God’s faithfulness to us! ...

Nine years ago I received a phone call from my brother Mitch who had been serving in Hawaii with Teen Challenge for many years. Mitch and his wife Joy were sensing a change in their ministry calling and they asked if they could move to Mexico with us and join our church’s full time missionary staff. ...

Michoacan is one of Mexico’s largest and most traditional states, full of great food, music, and culture. Greetings from Mexico. In March, I got to travel to Mazatlan to help send out our first church plant to the South American Country of Venezuela! In this update, I am excited to tell you all about it! Our church was blessed to send out my good friend (and former Calvary Rosarito assistant Pastor) Tony Carranza and his team to plant a church in Mazatlan back in 2016! In just 9 years they have planted six churches. The great news is that in March, they sent out their seventh. ...

The foundation of our church’s missions program is our church planting program, and that all begins with our weekly church planting class. At the start of February we started our new class of church planting and we were surprised with nearly 50 students including 12 first timers. ...

Greetings from Mexico. At the end of January, I was blessed to take a missions trip to our church plant in Loreto (South Baja) and in this update, I wanted to tell you all about this fruitful trip! Elmer and Crystal Cardenas arrived at our church many years ago with broken lives and a broken marriage. They both quickly professed faith, were born again, and God lit a holy fire in them. They both quickly went “All in” in their new found faith, and began serving together in the church. ...

Greetings from Mexico. Our family hopes that you and yours had a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a very Happy New Year! On the church side of things, we had a number of wonderful Christmas outreaches to reach our community that I would like to share with you! The most creative of our outreaches was definitely our annual Christmas parade! We had over 40 vehicles covered in Christmas lights and filled with singing and smiley Christians from our church! This Calvary Rosarito parade slowly drove 5 miles through our communities main streets while giving out Christmas handy and Gospel tracks. ...
