What a wonderful God we serve! It is amazing to see people coming to Christ and surrendering to Him. Christian baptism is one of two ordinances that Jesus instituted for the church. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”(Matthew 28:19–20). These instructions specify the church’s responsibility to teach and make disciples, and to welcome and baptize those disciples.

I praise God for everything that He has done in the past year, 2023! I praise Him for all of the tests that He allowed for me to grow in my faith and also to learn to fully depend upon Him. We are very excited for what God has for us in 2024!

Graduation Ceremony

It gave us great joy to see these young men be so committed to study the Word. They completed there courses. They are trained in the Word and are now getting ready to go out to the places where God has called them. Three students graduated from our Calvary Bible Institute. All three of them decided to do internships with our church planters in different locations, which will also help them learn.

I praise God for His amazing grace in our lives and ministry. God has been using you all for many years as you take part in the mission work that is happening here. A biblical understanding of just these two words is far-reaching. It clearly is because, the authority rests on God to help us make the move in going everywhere He leads. All authority is His alone. It is on His authority we trust Him in everyplace He sends us.

So much so, that this commandment has reverberated in our souls that we waited upon the Lord and sought His heart to lead us wherever He wills after finishing the school semester. After much waiting, the Lord in His grace, has opened doors to J*, one of the main cities in a state which has been hostile to the Gospel. As soon as the meetings had been scheduled, all the staff, along with the students sat in prayer, intercession, and pleading with God to save souls in the areas in and around J*. The Lord, in His provision, has provided for the needs of each and every one. It was decided in the counsel of the Lord, that all of us must be divided into two teams. One team was sent via train to travel for 20 hours; alternatively, another team was sent via car to travel for 15 hours. Thanks be to God, that both of our teams have reached their areas safely. Brethren, there was a warm welcome upon reaching our destination, which is worth sharing with you all. As the team, who came via train, reached J* railway station, we saw a group of welcomers waiting for our team to arrive with a bouquet and with lots of love! This left all of our team in great surprise (even the passengers, too), because this was something unplanned and unexpected. Assuredly, the love of Christ reigned all our hearts.

Glory to God, the Father, through Christ, who has chosen us to be partakers in the expansion of His Gospel near and far! Grace and peace to each and every heart who reads and gives Glory to God in the Highest by reading this newsletter.

Christmas was never meant for the festivities, lights, trees, Santa Claus, etc. We could go on and on. As the body of Christ, we are to be very cautious that the message and focus should never be diverted from Christ. Keeping that in mind, we prayed and sought the Lord’s wisdom to direct our ways in celebrating the season of advent this year.

Merry Christmas to you all. Yes, God has been doing a great work in us and through us to reach out to the lost. I thank you for your prayers and support.

During the Christmas season, we have a great opportunity to reach out to people and show the love of Christ. We are planning to have Gospel outreaches in 5 different locations. Two in the city, 2 in villages, and 1 in a tribal area. Pray that those who listen will see Christ and experience His love. We are going to preach the Gospel to them.

May and June were really busy. We had great outreaches. I am excited to share what God has done.

Calvary Chapel in the City

It is really a joy to share with you about what God is doing through our church.

I have been praying about reaching out to more people in the colony that we have been ministering in for 6 years. The God’s Holy Spirit directed us to start going to houses that we have not reached yet and have fellowship with the families there. So, I announced during our Sunday worship service that each believer should choose 3 families to take us to. They should be families they know, who have never heard the Gospel, so that we could go and have fellowship with them. This really worked and went really well. We reached 15-18 families and we are praying to continue to minister to them. Please pray for this.

Hello, Everyone!

Thank you all for partaking in the work God is doing here and touching many lives. It is very amazing that God could use us all to proclaim His love and greatness.

God has opened doors to minister to these people and to share the Gospel. This week we were able to distribute groceries to almost 70 families. It is amazing to see smiles on their faces! God was able to provide for His people, like Paul promises for the Philippians that, “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ.” There is no lack of anything for His people in the kingdom of God.

We hope you all are doing good. We are continually praying for you all. Even during the time of this pandemic, God has been very faithful in protecting and providing for us. I am excited and happy to share with you all what’s happening here and in our lives. Thank you for your prayers and support!

In my country, COVID positive cases are growing day by day. Many people are dying. It is really sad to see. Many are losing their parents and children. I want you to please pray especially for my country. People here need more wisdom on how to protect themselves from Corona. Many are reckless. They are still not taking it seriously. It is sad to see them who do not know Christ. I do not know why God allowed it, but still He has a reason–so that many may turn to Him. Please pray about it. Since April, we have been doing our worship services online, and reaching out to other people through social media. New people have also joined our online worship services.

This December was filled with the joy of reaching out to people to share the Gospel with them and reach them with love. I am really thankful to God for using us in different areas. The Christmas season is a good opportunity to meet new people and introduce them to Christ.

Christmas Outreach

We got to do a Christmas Gospel program in our new building. We invited the local people who live around the area of the new building. We also arranged vehicles from the place where we minister and have church. We had the outreach in the new building because the government did not give us permission to do it outdoors.

We have had a really good start of the first worship service in the church building during this month of November. Everyone was so happy to come together to worship our Lord Jesus Christ! We had the Lord’s supper together during our 1st Sunday worship service. Praise the Lord! Jesus Loves (our country*)!

We have been praying about this community for 1 year. Finally, God gave us the opportunity to go and share His love! We had a Christmas outreach among the 35 families that live here, and thanked God for what He has done and celebrated the birth of Christ.

We all had an amazing time with them and shared God’s love. We also blessed some families with mosquito nets, and had food together.

We are so very happy to send out updates & prayer requests for the months of May & June combined.

In May, we celebrated our 4th year as a fellowship (church). We worshipped together with thankful hearts for what God’s Spirit has come to do in our midst since the beginning of our gatherings. During our anniversary celebration, families that we frequently visit in their homes during our local outreaches attended- which means they came to hear our testimonies of what the Lord has done and what we are all about: JESUS! Because our fellowship has been maturing, thanks to the many prayer partners we have who continue to bless us with support, our community has been hearing more and more testimonials of people being transformed by Jesus Christ. We are building a reputation reflecting the goodness of God through His Word, His works and His Way.

Reaching Out to Our Community and Beyond

Jesus is stirring and shaking things up in a good way throughout our fellowship and community! I am always so excited to send an update with the highlights of God’s good work being done here. Many times, I struggle to keep up with documenting the events happening here.

As the local students prepared to take their annual exams, we served our community children and teens by distributing school supply kits. These kits included: pens, pencils, rulers, erasers, sharpeners and some chocolate treats. We wanted to encourage the students that we know to do their very best. We had an amazing opportunity to share the Good News and Jesus, as the friend of sinners, to these students through songs and stories. Additionally, we prayed as a church for all of the students.

Christmas came and went, and it is already the third month of 2019!!! How did we get this far so fast? We have truly been experiencing an acceleration of God’s Spirit moving here at our church.

During the Christmas season, we were really able to go all out in community outreach – and many unbelievers were completely open to us visiting their homes to sing songs and pray. As a result of our enormous efforts to visit as many homes as possible before Christmas day, our service on Christmas Day was overflowing, and so many newcomers came to hear God’s Word!

Our church greets you all with love in our Lord Jesus! We have experienced major changes and transitions. There is more growth on the horizon.

Our season has been marked with sending out loved ones, and receiving new believers into our growing family in Christ.

The recent two major changes to our ministry team dynamic involved sending brother Andrew* off to join CCBC (Calvary Chapel Bible College) for his first semester at Bible college and sending off our American missionary sister with honor to her home in California after more than 3 years of foundational, administrative and church planting work here with us.

God Is Mercifully Using Us Mightily!

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

June was another jam-packed month of adventures with Jesus!

Our God is really an awesome GOD!

June was special for me because I was able to visit and attend a training conference at CC training center which is still fairly new. It was good for me to see old friends and make new friends too. My time at CCBC was fun and helped me to be encouraged and equipped. One week under good teaching and much prayer was like fuel for me to come back to my city with fresh vision and strength.

I am really overwhelmed in a good way, with all that God has done in the past two months! So much so, it was difficult for me to be able to sit and write with all that has been happening.

At last, time for sharing the joy with you has come!

April was filled with such extraordinary blessings and extravagant displays of God’s love for my people. Our Resurrection Sunday celebration at our church touched many hearts, and it was with this incredible service that I wasn’t at all shy to jump into what the Lord was burdening my heart to do in April.

We’re so happy to send another monthly update about all the faithfulness of God towards us in our church. We believe, absolutely, that in your prayers there is power partnering with us and God is answering!

Jesus is teaching us to love the people right where they are, especially our Hindu neighbors. Neighboring our fellowship hall (a small house rooftop) are many families who oftentimes stop by and sit in on our services. We have been diligent in visiting their homes too and offering prayers over the last few years. Whoever receives us, we let our blessing stand.

Dear Fellow Saints,

I’m so happy to report that through February we continued to be steadfast in our faith here in our country and we saw God’s love poured out toward us and through us!

I would like to share that we continue Wednesdays in the book of Colossians and Sundays in the book of Acts. I personally feel that this methodical teaching plan allows the believers in our fellowship to get God’s full counsel. We hope to get through the whole Bible one day together.

God Continues Opening many Doors to Share the Good News!

2018 has already been full of excitement and fruitful ventures of faith for our Calvary Chapel fellowship. January was a very active month with Bible studies, village and urban outreaches, worship services, and lots of Good News. We would love to share some of our highlights with the global body of Christ and ask for some prayers, too!

In January, we started the first day of the year with all night praise and prayer. For New Year’s Eve, we gathered to pray into the New Year and celebrate the good things of God. I shared the Word and at midnight we sang praises to Jesus. In our culture, we have the custom as Christians to receive bookmarks with Scriptures and hold fast to God’s promises to us. Therefore, we passed out Bible verses on bookmarks to our fellowship. We focus on the fact that God’s Word is true.

Fruitful Home Visits, Increasing Believers

We are now going through the book of Acts every Sunday. Last week we finished the Letter of Paul to the Philippians. God is really doing great things in people’s lives here and they really are getting to know how important the Word of God is!

In the month of December, we got to meet many new people and shared the Gospel with them. We did a lot of house visits this past month because people are scared to come to church, because their families don’t allow them. So we are visiting them at their houses. This has resulted in some new people joining with us in Sunday worship service!

Depending on God

I felt the Holy Spirit urge me to drive across the city and walk around a railway station to pray. As I was walking around, a man approached me. Without any introduction, he said, “I feel like God wants me to give you a place to start a church.” It took six months of follow-up conversations, house visits, and prayer to discern what this would unfold into.
On February 14, 2015, our team climbed up to the flat rooftop that was supposed to become the church. My ministry partner led the first on-the-spot Bible study. Together we prayed to seek God’s blessing and prophesied over the colony. Everyone became excited about God’s Word coming to this new place. It seemed that on Valentine’s Day, Jesus wanted to bring His love to these people. To THESE people.
In a land of thousands of people groups and hundreds of languages- it did not escape our attention, how amazing it was that the love of Jesus was pursuing our local people! Nearly every day, we diligently began visiting people in their homes, sharing the Word, and praying with them. We never forgot that God was on our side.
We had one mission: Love God. Love People.
