Beloved prayer partners and financial supports,

Thank you for partnering with us in the ministry of the Gospel through your support and prayers. I don’t know how many of you are aware of the increased persecution in our country and specifically in our state. Every Sunday churches are attacked, pastors and believers are beaten and church assets are destroyed. These Hindu radicals come with policemen. The police are there for the safety of the Hindus, not for the Christians. The police are pressured by the government to not register a case against these Hindus, but to threaten Christians that they will register a case against them for converting Hindus. In our state we have an anti-conversion law that allows the police to arrest Christians. The arrested person would be in jail for at least ten years.

Greetings from our country! We thank our God for His protection and grace. Thank you for your continued prayers and support! The devil has been trying to stop the advancing of God’s kingdom, but he has not been able to do so. Christ is the builder of the kingdom of God (the church). It is His promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Our state government is planning to pass anti-conversion laws to prevent people becoming Christians and to throw pastors in jail. We need your continued prayers that we will proclaim the Gospel boldly.

Happy New Year!

May this New Year be filled with joy, peace and God’s abundant blessings! This new year is going to be a year of hope and harvest.

The last month of 2024 did not go well with us (humanly speaking). Five people whom we knew went to be with the Lord. My wife’s uncle was one of them. He died early in the morning on December 24th.

We could not do as much outreach during the Christmas season as we did in previous years. We needed permission from the government officials of the town to be allowed do any Christian activity. We had planned to do prison ministry and school evangelism, but we were not given permission. Nevertheless, we were able to invite non-Christian children to our church on December 21st and do a program for them. The Gospel message was shared with them through songs, skits, and a short message.

Hello, dear brothers and sisters.

Christmas greetings to you from our family and a blessed, happy “New Year”!

2024 has been a year of persecution for the churches in our state. Many house churches have been closed by the government with the pressure of Hindu radicals.

In spite of all this, churches are growing. One new family was added to our Sunday fellowship. We baptized four people. Five couples were blessed with babies this year. One couple was blessed with a child after being married for four years.

To Boldly Proclaim the Gospel

October has started, but it is still very hot. It is hot and humid which makes it more difficult. Not only the climate in this region is hot, but the spiritual battle is also furious. Attacks on Christians are increasing day-by-day. Last month four churches were attacked and the pastors were arrested by the police.

Three believers died in three different villages. The villagers did not let the Christians bury them in their villages. The villagers and government officials tried to force the family members of the deceased to become Hindu. The family members stood for their faith. In one of the villages, the Hindu villagers took the body and burnt it with all of the Hindu rituals. In the other two villages the Christians took the bodies away and buried them. One was buried in a forest and the other in nearby town.

I have been reading 1 Samuel. I am blessed by the verse mentioned above. It is my aim to know God, as Paul says of himself, “That I may know Him… being made conformable unto his death” (Philippians 3:10). The best way the Lord reveals himself is through His Word. As I am going through His Word, it is my prayer that the Lord would reveal himself more and more to me. I pray the same for you too.

Your Labor Is Not in Vain in the Lord

After serving the Lord in the northern mountains for many years, we moved back to our home town in 2017. The Lord gave us the opportunity to revisit the northern mountains last month. We met with the believers and had fellowship with them that before we led to the Lord. It was such a blessed time to see them all and to see them walking in the Lord! We thank SGWM for sponsoring our trip to the North.

Standing On God’s Promises

‘’ I (Jesus) will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’’

Matthew 16:18.

We have been experiencing the activities of forces of darkness to stop the growth of the church, but it is the promise of our Lord that they shall not prevail. Every Sunday, churches are attacked by the Hindu fanatics who are assisted by the local police and government officials. A few churches in our town have been closed down.

Greetings to you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We thank the Lord for you all and for your partnership in the ministry of the Gospel.

Here is a brief ministry report of the year 2023.

Despite growing persecution in our state, the Lord kept us safe and gave us opportunities to spread the Gospel. House fellowships and new churches are being attacked everywhere in our state, but the Lord helped us to start a house fellowship in a village 20 kilometers from our town. Two extended families (15 people) are now members in this house fellowship.

Merry Christmas to you all! May the peace and grace of our Lord Jesus be upon you and may His joy fill your heart. God bless you all. Have a blessed wonderful season of Christmas. It’s our prayer that the Lord would make you channels of His salvation to many lost souls during this season.

Many events took place last month. We know that it is a busy time for everyone, therefore we will share briefly about some of them. I was invited to share the Word in a three-day meeting in a big city church for their church anniversary. I preached for those three days on “The Purpose of the Church.” The people were challenged. Many made commitments to live their lives to bring glory to the Lord.

Bear Ye One Another's Burdens

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ! Thank you so much for partnering with us in the work of the Gospel through your prayers and financial support.

We believe that you are aware of the persecution Christians are facing in our country. In one of the northeast states of our country, more than three hundred churches have been destroyed and burnt. More than one hundred people have been killed, and thousands of Christians have fled to neighboring states. Thousands others are living in forests to save their lives. The government in that state and the central government are anti-christian. For the last five months the violence has continued, but the government is doing nothing to stop it. Everywhere in our country Christians are organizing peaceful rallies in protest of the violence toward the Christians. We also had a peaceful rally organised in our town by all of the churches in support of our brothers and sisters in that state. Please pray for our brothers and sisters.

Men and Women After God’s Own Heart

It is Monsoon season, farmers wait for this to cultivate their field. It is supposed to be a joyful season, but it is very devastating in the North. There are floods and frequent land-slides in the mountains. Cities and villages in the plains are flooded, many people have died and so much economic loss has happened.

Finding Grace In These Uncertain Times

Thank the Lord for His grace to finish the second semester of our Bible Institute. This semester the students were taught 1&2 Samuel, Ezra & Nehemaih, Luke, Acts, Romans and 1&2 Corinthians. All the classes went smoothly.

We did not face any opposition from the Hindu fanatical groups that are very active in our area. There is so much persecution in our state. There is especially persecution around our town, but it has not been in our town. However, two weeks ago, a church service was attacked in a town that is just about a mile away from our church. These fanatical groups put women in the front. The women attack with wooden rods.

Sustained by God’s Goodness

Every Opportunity Is Precious

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. It is by His goodness and faithfulness that we are still alive and doing the work of the Gospel. I would also like to thank you all for your continued prayers for us and for the ministry of the Gospel. Our special thanks to all of you who are sacrificially supporting us financially.

We are doing well spiritually, though sometimes not doing too good physically. But still the Lord, by His grace, is giving us strength to do the work He has called us to do. He not only gives us strength to do the ministry, but He opens up doors for the ministry. As I have shared with you, in our state persecution of Christians is severe. We are not allowed to bury new believers who die. Even if we bury the dead, when the Hindus come to know that Christians have buried a new believer’s dead body, they come and excavate the body. In spite of these persecutions and oppositions, the Lord opens doors for us to preach the Gospel.

The Lord Is Our Protector

We praise God for His love and His faithfulness. He has kept us safe till this day and used us for His glory. We thank you also for your continued prayers for us and for our ministry. Because of your prayers we are experiencing God’s protection over our life.

We don’t know if you are aware or not about what is happening in our country because the media does not publish it. Persecution on minorities is intensifying day by day in our country. Especially in our state, Christians are being persecuted. Believers of the Lord are beaten, churches are burnt. Pastors are killed. These extremist Hindu groups are even not allowing dead bodies of new believers to be buried. Last week, two such incidents happened in two different villages near our town. The dead bodies were decaying for two days in both cases. Because of the fear of radical Hindu groups, the Christians in our town did not allow these dead bodies to be buried in the Christian graveyard in our town. One dead body was taken to another town secretly and buried in a Christian graveyard before the radical groups came. The second dead body was left at the burial site of the village by the believers saying, ‘let the dogs and birds eat it.’ After this, the police dug a grave and buried the body.

God Is Opening New Doors

We urge you to continue to uphold us and all the Christians in our country in your prayers. You must be aware of the increased persecution in our country. The persecution is very wide spread and intense in our state. Almost every Sunday, churches are attacked by various Hindu groups. Police are taking no action against the persecutors, instead, pastors are arrested on false charges. Large numbers of people in the extremist Hindu group are protesting on roads and shouting slogans against Christians. They are asking the government to declare our country a Hindu country and to cancel the citizenship of Christians and Muslims. These extremist groups are falsely accusing Christians of converting people by giving them money and of blaspheme against their gods and goddesses.

We have been praying for you all, and we believe that you are doing well by His grace. We are so thankful to you, for your constant prayers for us and the ministry in our country. We are doing well here, in spite of the increase of Covid-19 cases in our country.

These past few months have really not been good humanly speaking. We have seen many of our Christian friends and relatives go to be with the Lord. More than this, so many non-Christians have died during these last two or three months. We are sorry about the death of unbelievers because they are lost forever. We urge you to please pray for the unbelieving Christians (Christians in name only) and non-Christians: that before departing from this world they would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

My mother lives with my sister about 6 hours away. We were able to see my mother and celebrate her 92nd birthday. She has trouble hearing, so we could not talk to her much but we were able to spend time with her.

So sorry that it has been so long since we have written. We are doing well. We pray that the Lord will keep you safe as the whole world is going through this pandemic.

We had one week left to finish our fourth semester of the Bible college when a total lockdown was imposed in our country. Immediately, we had to send the students home. Now the lockdown has been lifted, with some restrictions, but we still can not reopen the Bible college. All schools and colleges are closed. We can not reopen Bible college this year. When other schools and colleges open then we will also be able to start our new semester.

Praise the Lord! We thank the Lord for the wonderful work that He has been doing in and through us! 2020 has been going well so far. The Lord has been blessing us and the ministry. We are so thankful to you for standing with us in your prayers and supporting us financially!

We enjoyed our time with our son, pastor 9. He was with us for about twenty days. We celebrated his 25th birthday together. We thank the Lord for our son. He is such a blessing to us. The Lord has been using him for His glory in the Mountains. We would request that you continue to uphold him in your prayers.

In our Bible Study on Fridays, we finished 3rd John. We had a potluck meal, and with that we finished the Bible study for 2019. We will begin again in January 2020. We will study the book of Jude.

We are busy preparing for our Christmas program to share the great love of God with the village people. We are going to invite the whole village for our Christmas program on December 17th. Last year, two hundred people came for the program, and we hope that this year we will have more people. Please pray that we will be able to present the Gospel through drama, dance, Christmas songs, and the message.

Praise the Lord for opening new doors to serve Him in other churches as well! I was invited to share the Word during a one-day Family Retreat organized by a church in a big city. I spoke during three different sessions. The Lord used me in a very powerful way to touch the lives of the people there. People were blessed by the Word of God. Many people came to me afterward, to share their testimonies of how they had been blessed.

Thank you so much for standing with us through your prayers and support. We appreciate your partnership in the ministry of the Gospel. Through your prayers and support, we are able to reach out to the people of our country with the Gospel.

We are doing well. We have long days of ministry; we get tired as we leave our home at 8 am and come back at 7 pm. On Thursdays, we do not reach home until 10 pm. But the Lord is our strength! He gives us grace to do what He has called us to do. I am enjoying teaching the Gospel of Mark and the book of Hebrews in our Pastors School, and the book of 1 John in Bible Study class on Friday nights, and the book of Genesis in our Sunday Services. I am busy studying to learn from the Lord and to give to His people what He gives me. I am very much blessed by the Lord through His Word.

Extreme Dedication

Thanks be to God who has been doing wonderful things through us! Thank you, too, for your prayers and partnering with us through your financial gifts!

We are doing well by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord has kept us safe in this extreme hot weather where the temperature has been about 113 degrees. He is our refuge and strength.

We are excited to see the Lord opening new doors of ministry! We have begun Bible studies on Friday nights. We have been studying the first epistle of John. I have been enjoying teaching the book. The number of participants in the Bible Study are increasing. Last Friday, 19 people attended! Praise the Lord for the hunger for the Word that His people have! I have been using PowerPoint to teach. This is a new experience for me, too.

Thank you so much for your prayers! Praise the Lord! He has opened the door for me to visit Israel! I am going to Israel on March 28 for two weeks. I am so thankful to SGWM for sponsoring me on this trip. I am so blessed to be able to go! I will be joining a group from the United States in Israel. I have always desired to visit Israel at least once in my lifetime. Praise God! He fulfills the desires of our heart. I am so excited to see the places where our Lord walked and taught the crowds. I believe that this trip will be a blessing to me and helpful in my teaching of the Word. Please pray for my trip.

We pray that the Lord would lead you, keep you, and be everything for you this year.

Thank you for praying for our Christmas outreach program. The weather was very bad for three or four days and it rained for the whole day two days before our program–but we had perfect weather on the 20th! (We had our Christmas program that day.) It was a very cold night–but about three hundred people came to see the program!
