Thank you for your continuous prayers. May the Lord bless you all.
Lately all the women of the village are coming to my church. Some of them are true believers and some live a life of compromise. Four or five young people also come to my church who are already believers. I am teaching through the Acts of the apostles in my church. Pray for the people who come to grow strongly in the holy Word of the Lord.
For a while we have also been doing Friday meetings. Some of the women of our village come and my family members come. We pray together. I have also been giving New Testaments to many people
While I was traveling to another village area, I met some people on the way. They were from far away and they have been working here for a long time. While I was on my way back they were walking down the road. They waved to me and asked me to give them a ride. I did not know them. They said “Brother, please give both of us a ride.” But there were four of them.
Then the Lord put it in my heart that this was a good opportunity. I first took two people on my bike, then I came to pick up the other two and dropped them off also. They started saying, “God bless you.”
I thanked God in my mind and told them the Gospel of the Lord. They got very excited and started asking me many things about Jesus Christ. The Lord helped me. I talked to them with the Word of the Lord and told them everything about Jesus Christ. Then they started telling about themselves. They were very upset with their lives because they were going through many difficulties. They told me about their circumstances. I prayed with them and told them to believe in the Lord. He will make everything right. They were very excited. They gave me their phone number. Now, I am in contact with them about every other day. Please pray for them. May the Lord change their hearts so that they can know the truth.
A while ago, I got engaged. The my fiancee’s brothers had come back to their home village. They asked me to come meet them so I went to their village to meet them. They already knew that I am a Christian and know Jesus Christ. When I met them, we talked. I had met them twice before, but we were only together for a very short time. That day, a few other guests had also come to their house. I asked the two brothers to go somewhere with me. I thanked the Lord in my heart because I had asked them to go for a walk so that I could share the Gospel with them. We went and rested at a secluded place. We talked a lot among ourselves. Two other boys had also come with them. I told them all the Gospel of the Lord. I shared many things about Jesus with them. They got very excited. They began telling me that their village is full of Pundits. People worship idols a lot. They warned me to stay away from those people because they would oppose me.
I told them that Lord will change those people’s hearts and will transform their hearts too. I prayed for them. When we came back and sat with the guests who had come, one brother told them “He believes in Jesus Christ.” After that, the guests started asking me many questions and started talking about different things about Jesus Christ. Thank be to the Lord, He gave me courage so that I could answer them and tell them the Gospel. I am praying for them. May the Lord change the hearts of these three brothers and also the hearts of the guests who had come.
Recently, while I was traveling with two boys from my village to a larger village, I saw another boy from a different village whom I had shared with before. I was very happy to see him and he was also very excited to meet me. We did not talk much in the market. Then I took the two boys from my village and that boy towards a different village and we sat together. I asked the boy about how his life was going. He told about his life. He was facing many problems in his life. Then I asked him, “Did I tell you about the Lord before?”
He said “Yes, I remember. but I don’t have time for all these things.” Then I shared God’s Word with him again and encouraged him with the Gospel of the Lord and talked to him.
I said, “If you believe in Jesus Christ completely, then your life will change. Whatever problem is in your life, will be solved.” There were also boys of my village with me, who are believers. Then I prayed for all three and they became very excited. I am praying that the Lord speaks to their hearts so that they can know the Lord completely
Some guests stayed at my house. I took them to a nearby village area the next day. A new guest house has been built in that area, so I showed it to them. The Lord helped me share the Gospel with them. Many of them asked me about Jesus Christ. We had many conversations about Jesus Christ. I thank the Lord that He gave me the opportunity to preach the Gospel to them. I am praying for them so Lord changes their hearts so that they can know the truth.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for the believers of my village, both women and young men, to grow in the Word. Also pray for those who do not believe in Lord completely. May they also come to know the Lord completely. Pray to Lord that He will increase the faith of all the people who are coming to our Friday meetings, so that they don’t go astray. Also pray for all of the people to whom I have given New Testaments. May they read the New Testament and may the Lord change their hearts. Pray for the people I met who are from far away. I shared the Good News with them. May the Lord speak to their hearts so that they can be saved. Pray for the people to whom I have shared the Gospel with, specifically the three brothers in village K* and the one brother in D* and also for the guests who came to my house. May Lord speak to them and may their hearts be changed so they can know the truth. Pray for the village where I go visiting. I have told the Gospel of the Lord to many people there. May they also know the truth and may the Lord speak to their hearts. Pray for me to grow more powerfully in my spiritual life, so that the Lord can use me more powerfully among the people of this area so that many people are saved. Pray for my church building. May the Lord complete the work of this church building soon. Pray for my marriage. May Lord prepare both of us for marriage. Also pray that God provides for all of the arrangements. (Praise the Lord!)
I want to thank the Lord for taking care of you and us and giving good health to us all. Thank the Lord for blessing us all. Thank the Lord for blessing all of you who are constantly praying for us and supporting us!
Lately, most of the women are coming to our Sunday service. I am teaching them from the Gospel of Luke. A few new people are also coming to my church who are from our village. They used to be against me, but they have been coming to church for some time now. They are not believers, but I trust that the Lord will soon change their hearts.
On Sundays we fellowship together first. Then I pray for everyone’s prayer requests. Thanks to the Lord, there has now been a lot of improvement in my village. There was a little persecution before, and a few people were against me. Gradually those people are also beginning to know the truth of the Lord. Pray that the Lord changes the hearts of all those who are still resisting me.
I am now also going to another village every week. It is the village where my eldest sister lives. This village believes in a lot of idol worship and gods and goddesses. I preached the Gospel of the Lord to my elder sister, but she lives a life of compromise. Pray to the Lord that my sister will fully believe in the Lord.
One day, when I went there to visit, two or three people were sitting at my sister’s house talking. They asked me about my occupation. Praise the Lord, as I was talking about myself, my sister said, “He is a Christian.”
They started asking me if I was a Christian and I said “Yes, I have come to know the truth.” I preached to them the Lord’s Gospel, but they said that it was not true.
Then they asked me many questions which I answered. I told them all about Jesus Christ, they kept nodding “Yes” to me. Then they said to me, “You have left your gods, it is not good.
I answered them about the Gospel of the Lord. Pray against all their superstitions. May the Lord use the words I preached to them. May the Lord change their hearts. Since that day, I have kept going to this village to tell many people the Gospel of the Lord at my sister’s house. Pray that these people may come to know the Lord in the time to come and that the Lord will use me more in this village.
There is a man from our village whose name is S*. He used to live in the capital city. He and his wife (pictured right) rent a room in a small town that is nearby. I used to run into him ever two or three days. He was very upset because he wanted to open a shop in the market, but he was not able to. I told him the Gospel of the Lord each time we met, but he and his wife did not believe. I used to pray for them daily. Each day I met them, I told them about Jesus Christ. They kept ignoring my words. It went on like this for a while, and the shop still was not able to be opened. One day he and his wife and I were sitting down together. He said to me, “If your Lord can do anything, then why is he not helping me?”
I told him, “You have not believed all the things that I told you. The Lord can do anything, but we have to believe in the truth. You have to believe in the Lord completely and give your life Him.” I prayed for him in his room and helped him, and his brother opened a shop in the market only four days later.
I prayed for S* every day and the Lord heard my prayer. With the Lord’s help, he opened his shop in the market. On the day the shop was inaugurated, he told me, “I prayed to the Lord and said, ‘If you really are the Lord, then help me.’ and I got my answer.”
From that day on, I have visited him at his house every day. He and his wife have both given their lives to the Lord and have come to know the truth. Thanks be to the Lord for changing their hearts. They are new believers. Pray that no one will deceive them, that they will grow in the Lord, and that the Lord will continue to change their lives.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for the believers in our village and for the women to become stronger in the Gospel of the Lord, not be misled by anyone, and grow in the Lord. Pray for my sister’s village. It is a very big village and the people there consider themselves to be high caste. There is a lot of untouchability and discrimination there. There is also an extreme amount of idol worship. May the Lord change the hearts of those to whom I have preached the Gospel of Lord, so that they may know the truth and many souls will be saved in the village. Pray for me as I visit the new village. May no demonic force stop me, and may I spread the Lord’s Holy Gospel with boldness so that everyone can know the truth. Pray for the new family (S* and his wife B*) who have just opened a shop in the market and given their lives to Lord. If anyone brings trouble into their lives, then may the Lord take care of them and help them through all of their sorrows. Pray that they will continue to believe in the Lord and that no satanic force will mislead them. Next to our village is a small village. There lives a woman whose husband died young. Her children are still very young. I preached the Gospel to her and she believes in the Lord. Pray that she will fully believe. Pray that the Lord will handle all of the problems in her life (health-related and financial) in every circumstance. Pray for me. Pray that the Lord will open new doors for me and give me new villages to serve in. Pray that a lot of souls will be saved. Pray for my health. Pray that I may be fully healed so that I can perform my ministry well. Pray for our church building. It is not yet complete. Some things like lighting, doors, and tiles still need done. May God remedy these things so that they can happen quickly. Praying for the our region. It is raining a lot right now. Landslides are happening everywhere. May the Lord take care of us during this time and help us spread the Gospel to all those who are superstitious so that they can know the truth. Pray for my mom. She was admitted in the hospital for 9 days for typhoid fever. She is still not completely well. Pray to the Lord that He will heal Mom completely. Pray for my elder brother and his wife, who is a believer. Both of them are not in good health. May the Lord will heal them. My elder brother is currently working towards being able to do civil service and also working a job. Because of his poor health, his preparation for doing civil services is not going well. My sister-in-law has a heart problem. She takes medicine for it every day. My whole family is sick. Pray that the Lord gives good health to my family. Thank you so much for continuing to pray for us!!
Praise the Lord that currently 12-13 people come to my church! Three of them are non-believers, but all of them also come to church on Sundays. I am very happy that the parents who used to forbid the youth in the village to come to church are not stopping them now! Thanks be to the Lord, He changed their hearts! So now they are all able to come to the church!!
Recently, I met a family from a village, named P*. I have asked for prayer for this family before, because they seem to be slowly coming to God. I shared the Gospel with this family. One of the family members is a person named V*. He has a wife and two small children. Every three or four days I visit them.
One time their neighbors came while I was there. They came while I was in prayer. Two more neighbors also came and were listening. The neighbors sat near us while I preached the Gospel of the Lord. Then, the neighbors started asking me, “Why do you come here? Why are you taking them away from their deities?”
I thanked Lord in my heart and told them, “I have come to tell you that people should know the truth, and know the true Lord. Those who are believing in superstition should also know the truth of the Lord and should not live their lives in darkness.”
The Lord comforted and took care of the believing family I was visiting while they were in deep sorrow. The family said to their neighbors, “Why are you saying these things?”
We talked a lot, I told them all about the Lord’s Gospel. Please pray for their neighbors to come to know the Lord. Also pray that the believing family doesn’t turn away from Jesus Christ. The neighbors told me not to come to the village again. Pray that at the right time, the Lord will give me courage so that I can go back.
Another thing happened recently, I met a brother a few weeks ago. He was wearing a cross around his neck. He came with a friend of mine, and we sat talking. There were two more people with him. While we were talking, my eyes fell on his neck, and I saw the cross.
I asked him, “Why are you wearing this around your neck?” He told me that he used to believe in Jesus Christ. He also explained that he does not agree with what the villagers believe, so he wears the cross. I thanked the Lord and preached the Gospel to him. I shared my testimony with him. There were two other people with him who were listening to everything. I said to him, “The Lord is powerful, and He will save you, but you must believe!” I told him many things. I also explained the Gospel further to him, so that the others who were there would also be able to understand. The one with the cross necklace gave me his number. I said that I would call him every other day. Now, I am encouraging him through phone call conversations to fully come back to Jesus. The other two who were with him asked many questions, and the Lord helped me to answer all of them. Thank God! He has truly made a connection with these people so they can hear the Gospel.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for the brother who was a believer, but had quit attending fellowship with the circle of believers. Pray that he will return to the faith. Also pray for the two other people who heard the Gospel of Lord while I talked with him. May the Lord turn their hearts toward Him. Pray for the family in the village that I regularly visit. Pray that they will grow in the Lord. Also pray that the neighboring family, who is opposing them and forbidding me to come, will have changed hearts. Pray for me. Pray that there will not be any opposition in the places where I go to visit and meet people, so that I can preach the Gospel and people will be open to the Gospel. Pray for the youth of my village to walk according to the Word of the Lord. Pray for their relatives to also come to know the Lord soon. Pray for the area I live and work in. Pray for all of the leaders who belong to the Hindu political party and for those who do not want the Lord’s kingdom to spread. Pray that their hearts will be changed by the Lord. Pray that the Lord will speak to those to whom I have preached the Gospel and change their hearts so that they will come to faith in Him. Pray for me as I go different places to preach the Gospel. I am thankful that the Lord chose me for the ministry and to witness to people so that they can be saved.
Thank you for your continued prayers for us. Nowadays 8-9 people who did not come to church before, because of fear of their family members, are now coming to my church. They are now coming to church every Sunday. Thanks to the Lord. The Lord worked in their hearts.
This is a testimony of a believer of my church. He had heard the Gospel long ago, but he did not believe in the Lord completely. When I came to my village and preached the Gospel of God, and he attended every Sunday service.
When he shared his testimony with me, I started praying for him from that day onward.
That brother had started preparing for government job after graduating from high school. There were many problems in his house, about which he was very worried. He used to pray to God every day that he would be able to pass the civil service exam. But his efforts failed 4 or 5 times. Afterward, his family members started forbidding him to go to church. Then I explained to them, that God will fix everything, I told them, “If you have faith in the Lord, the Lord will very soon answer your prayer.”
Because he believed that the Lord would definitely answer his prayers one day, he read the Bible everyday. Before reading the Bible, he would pray to God everyday. After a long time, God answered his and our prayers. He was selected to have a job in the forest guard. He thanked God. Last Sunday, he testified in church about how God worked in his life. He has also thanked God through a video. Today he is very happy. He tells those in his home about how God has worked in his life. Pray that his family members may also believe in Jesus through him.
I am very happy that the Lord has answered all of our prayers. May this village be won for God in the time to come. This is not a good thing.” Something similar happened that day too. There were 2-3 other people with him. He said the same thing again about us all becoming Christians.
Then I told him, “We have not done anything wrong, we just want to know the truth.”
Then he started asking “What is the truth?”
In this I again thanked God inside and shared the Gospel with him. The people who were with him started asking many questions, I answered them. In the end, he said, “This is all a lie, you are misleading people from our gods. You have to stop this work.”
I did not argue with him much. I prayed for him in my heart, that God may change his heart and that I will be able to talk to him again, so that he can know the truth.
You also please pray for them, that God will change the lives of these people who heard the Word, so that they can know the truth.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for our church. Pray that the believers in my village grow in the Word so that their families may come to faith through their lives Pray for our village. So, I went to their village and stayed for two nights. In that area, all of my relatives now know that I believe in Jesus.
One of the nights, I was in the room with 4-5 young people and some elders. One of them asked me “Don’t all Christians eat beef during Christmas?” (Cows are worshiped in our country, so it is against the law to eat beef.) I told them that that’s not true. Here people falsely accuse Christians to create hatred for them.
Then, the others started supporting the man accusing me. This gave me an opportunity to share what the Bible says. I went on to share the Gospel with them. Currently, I am teaching through the Gospel of John in my village church fellowship. I have been teaching that God is mighty and is able to do anything! He heals the sick and listens to all our prayers. I thank God that some of the youth, who were not coming earlier, are now coming to the fellowship! And, also, my family members did not used to come to the fellowship, but now God is working in their hearts and now they are coming to the fellowship! I am really encouraged that more people are being added in the Kingdom of God! The people at the fellowship ask me many different questions about salvation and about different religions. I am glad that the youth are asking many questions about God, because this shows that they are showing interest. I also thank God that He enables me to answer all the different questions that they ask me. The believers were also asking about baptism, so I have also been teaching them about baptism.
A Special Opportunity to Share the Gospel About three weeks ago, I went to my brother’s home in the city. There, I met two more men who work with my brother. One is from another near country and another from my village. The one who is from my village, earlier when I told him about God, he did not want to hear and used to be devoted to his gods. The day I was visiting, this friend shared his problems. He told me that he always thinks about these problems and he does not have peace. He told me that he always sees me happy and at peace. I told him that I am happy in the Lord, because all my troubles and my cares I give to God, and He listens to my prayers! Then, I also shared my testimony with him and then talked about salvation. There were two other men with him who were listening. They were also interested. We talked about many things and they asked many questions about my God compared to other gods. Then, they told me that they would like to come to my church. I was really encouraged that God used me there!
Teaching At A Conference God also gave me the opportunity to visit another village, which is about a 12 hour drive from where I live. I visited a brother who went to the School of Ministry with me and graduated with me. That brother had arranged a conference for his group of believers. He invited me and three other pastors to teach. I was blessed to teach about the work of God in creation. Since all these believers are new Christians, they do not know much about God. Therefore, they were very encouraged to hear about the works of our God. I told them that we need to know that the God we worship is all powerful and is in control of all things. Since it was my second time visiting these believers, it was really good to see them continuing to standing strong in their faith!
Prayer Requests: 1. Please pray for my family, as they are having many problems. They have taken a loan and the people from whom they have taken the loan are creating problems. Please pray that God may give us wisdom in making the payment for the debt.
2. Please pray that God may open new doors for me to share the Gospel.
3. Please pray for my village people, as they have heard the Gospel. I was born into a Hindu family. I used to do a lot of idol worship because I was always sick. I worshiped idols every day. But, my health only became worse. My parents took me to many doctors and witch-doctors, but I was still very sick. My parents organized idol worship ceremonies in our house so that I would get well. Every Tuesday, for a whole year, I fasted from food so that I would be healed.
Turning to a Cow While all these things were happening in our house, Pastor 12 came. He gave my brother a Bible, and my brother started reading the Bible every day. I got angry. “Why is he reading the Bible when it is not our religion?” I thought. I complained to my parents that my brother was leaving our religion. But my parents did not rebuke him. Then again, 12 had a meeting. He told us that we should go to the city where there would be a camp. Then we went to the city. I stayed there for three months because I had a break from school. During these three months, I gave my life to God.
But when I went back to my village, I again started following the old gods. Afterward, I got sick again. So, my family organized a big Hindu worship ceremony in our house. The priest had me stand in front of a cow. He asked me to join my hands together (as in prayer) and whisper in the cow’s ears, “My sins are forgiven”. After that, I got typhoid. My family became very troubled and worried.
Barely Able to Talk By this time, my brother was already a true believer. He told me to believe in Jesus. Later, I became so sick that I was taken to the hospital. I was barely able to talk. It was so bad that I was admitted. Then I remembered my brother’s words, “Believe in Jesus.”
Although I did not totally believe, at that time I said in my heart, “If Jesus is God then He will save me.” This gave me some courage and strength. I became able to talk to my mom. Soon, I started getting better.
When I went back to my village, Pastor 12 wanted to send me to Bible School and talked to my parents about it. I was not ready to go, but it was God’s will for me. After 2-3 days of being at the Bible College, I truly accepted Christ and started following Him. Now, I believe the truth. Before I became a Christian, I went after many different gods, but I only found peace in Jesus Christ. Since then, I have never gotten sick like that again.
Thanking the Only True God I thank God that He gave me the opportunity to go to Bible College.
