This past month, we celebrated 25 years of marriage!!! There is so much to be thankful for!
Worth Celebrating - God’s Faithfulness
When we think back over the years, they have been absolutely mind blowing and almost unbelievable had we not actually lived through them. We planted a church, survived surgeries, bought a home, cared for aging parents, grieved losses of family members, got promotions, quit our jobs and sold everything we owned to move overseas as missionaries, lived in Asia and Africa in villages and cities in unreached nations, blessed with a daughter after 16 years of marriage, rejoiced at countless weddings, shared the gospel, discipled more than we can count, established Bible College campuses, sent out national church planters, hiked the Himalayas, enjoyed making memories on vacations, hosted teams and hundreds who come alongside to minister with us in slums, orphanages, leper colony, schools, churches and our passports have stamps from 22 countries as proof of the hundreds of flights we have boarded to spend our lives serving Jesus! We have met the most amazing people around the world that we now call friends/family and we have done it all TOGETHER!
On our 25th wedding anniversary, we woke up in Peru as we were invited to teach at the CCA South America Pastors & Missions Conference. We marveled at Gods faithfulness while dreaming about how the best is yet to come!
Thank you for reading our updates throughout these many years, for the countless prayers that you have prayed over our lives and our marriage, for your generous support, for the endless love and standing with us some or all of these past 25 years…to God be the glory for the great things He has done! It is truly our greatest joy to be your ambassadors to the nations!

Calvary Bible Institute Peru & Calvary Trujillo
In August, we traveled as a family and were able to teach a class on Missions through the Book of Acts at CBI Peru. We marvel at the growth in the ministry from the first time we taught until now. The first students are now graduates that have been sent out and several have planted churches now or preparing to this year and a new crop of students is now being equipped.
We recently got an update from one of the students Lola who shared, “one of the classes this semester that most impacted me was “Missions” with Pastor Bond. Since that class, it has changed my point of view of how I see missions and made clear that the Lord brought me here to train me for His great work. I am excited about what the Lord is doing here in Trujillo, Peru.”

Another highlight was to be greeted by our own missionary Jordon V from our young adults group who is now living in Trujillo, Peru full time, learning language and serving at the CBI in multiple ways. We also got to visit our first American student Taylor that we sent from that same group who is attending CBI Peru as a student. We were welcomed by our friends who lead the ministry, Pastor Cory, Danielle and big hugs from their kids as they grabbed Breanna tightly at the airport upon our arrival and many other missionary friends we have made there. What a joy it is to see their hard work and to come alongside and co-labor to invest in the next generation of pastors, missionaries and leaders in South America.
One of the highlights was to be a part of the Women’s Conference at Calvary Trujillo. It was beautiful to watch Danielle’s vision for the day come to fruition. There were 175 ladies that came and the theme was from Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.” It was a sweet day of teaching, fellowship, crafts and being together.

In September, we returned to Peru for the CCA South America Pastors & Missions Conference. There were 400 pastors, ministry leaders and missionaries from 10+ countries. It was a slice of heaven as we worshipped, spent time together, encouraged each other and we were both honored to share a small part of what the Lord has done in Asia and Africa over the past decade. We have been to many mission’s conferences throughout the year and we know the unknowns, the challenges and the uncertainties that many missionaries face. It was such an honor to encourage and teach from the Word of God that brings comfort, reassurance, edification and speaks so personally to each individual right where they are at. We went to be a blessing, but we walked away more blessed as the teaching times were powerful (or as was the saying “fuego”) and we got to meet and spend time with some of our missionary / pastoral heroes of the faith.

Please be praying as we travel this fall to Asia and spend time in two countries ministering, teaching and equipping many who are working in unreached parts of the world! We thank you so much for partnering with our family!
With Love,
Bond, Heather and Breanna
