Visit to another district
My team had a wonderful and impactful day during their recent visit. The team was blessed with the opportunity to share the Gospel with many individuals throughout the area. A particularly meaningful moment came when they shared the Good News with the uncle of a Bible College intern and his family.
In addition to visiting his uncle’s home, my team also reached out to several nearby households. Many of the residents had never heard about Jesus before. Despite this, every home warmly welcomed us, creating an open and joyful environment for Gospel sharing.
One special encounter stood out during the visit. The team met a woman whose mother had been a Christian. Although she had attended church in the past, she no longer does. My team was able to speak with her again about Jesus and gave her an Audio Bible, which she received with great joy. We request continued prayer for her — that God would stir her heart and draw her closer to Him.
It was a great blessing for us to pray with people and distribute both Audio Bibles and New Testaments. We ask for continued prayer that:
God would speak to each person through His Word, That these Gospel tools will help many come to a deeper understanding of Jesus. Involvement with Harvesters
This past weekend was a time of rich fellowship and fruitful ministry for the team and I as we joined fellow Calvary Chapel pastors in South East Nepal. My wife and I, along with Pastor Milan, Pastor Rabi, and a Bible college intern, traveled together and stayed in the church where I previously served.
The team visited Pastor Joshep’s church to participate in a program. It was a joyful occasion marked by vibrant fellowship among the believers. I shared an encouraging message from Romans 6:1–14, exhorting the new believers to walk closely with Christ.
While this was happening, Pastor Rabi visited Pastor Majiya’s church, where two more individuals were prepared to publicly declare their faith. Witnessing these lives being dedicated to the Lord was a significant blessing for the entire team.
The visit also included intentional time with Bible college students. The team shared meals, visited students’ homes, prayed with them, and provided encouragement for their ministry journeys. These moments were filled with love, care, and meaningful conversations about the future of their calling.
A personal highlight was my opportunity to visit my family, which was a special blessing. The team was warmly received at my in-laws’ home, where they enjoyed a wonderful dinner and heartfelt fellowship.
This time of breaking bread and sharing life with fellow believers was deeply meaningful. All glory to God for His faithfulness and the fruit borne through this trip.
Prayer Request:

Pray for the seven new believers to grow strong in their faith and walk closely with the Lord.
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:3-6.
We Are Not Alone
God recently opened the door for my team and I to travel to another area where we visited several church planters ministering in the region. The team was filled with joy and anticipation to reconnect with their fellow workers in the Kingdom.
During the visit, the team joined a local church service, offering encouragement and fellowship to the congregation. It was a powerful time of worship, ministry, and mutual strengthening.
We also spent time sharing ministry experiences with the local pastors. The gathering was marked by laughter, stories of God’s faithfulness, and heartfelt conversations. It was a time of mutual encouragement—a reminder to stay strong in the faith, continue serving Christ, and lift each other up in prayer.
One of the most moving moments came when two families serving the Lord looked at each other and said, “You are not alone.” Ministry often brings seasons of loneliness, fatigue, and discouragement. But when one pastor visits another, it becomes a time of refreshment—a sacred reminder that we are united in Christ and not forgotten.
We give all glory to God for this opportunity to encourage and be encouraged. We ask for continued prayer so we can keep visiting and supporting pastors—both in rural villages and urban areas—who need connection, prayer, and fellowship.
“Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10
Thank you,
Anand and Usha and Family (AC)

https://archive.sgwm.com/choudhary/choudhary/2025/07/13/never-alone/

Visit to another district

My team had a wonderful and impactful day during their recent visit. She spends a lot of time with them and often teaches them how to be a good pastor’s wife or a strong woman leader in the church. She plays an important role in the ministry through her support, teaching, and example.
Usha has a deep love for Jesus. She enjoys studying God’s Word and is passionate about teaching it. She regularly visits women in the church, makes friends easily, and always encourages others in their faith.
Recently, she has felt a strong calling to teach God’s Word to women, especially because she sees a great need for it among them. She has also built strong friendships with other pastors’ wives in the capital city, which has helped her grow in fellowship and ministry support.
Please pray that Usha continues to grow in her knowledge of God’s Word, in her personal relationship with the Lord, and in His grace. Pray that God will use her more powerfully in women’s ministry in the days ahead.
Gospel Shared at Birthday Party
Last month, we had a wonderful birthday celebration in the courtyard of our church. It was for our church leader’s daughter, Sionna. The family invited many guests—around 70 people—including several non-Christians.
During the celebration, the family requested me to share a message from the Word of God. I used this special opportunity to share the Gospel. I spoke about how Jesus is the center of everything and how He is the one who can truly bless our lives.
We believe that God was glorified through this event, and that many non-Christian guests were able to see hope in Christ. The seed of the Gospel has been sown in their hearts. Now, we continue to pray that God will make it grow—30 times, 60 times, and even 100 times.
Pray that future gatherings like this will open even more doors for the light of Christ to shine in the community.
God is Moving: A Report from the Field
Last month, Pastor Joseph’s church reached out to many communities, and several families accepted Jesus. His team also traveled to remote villages where there are no churches or believers to share the Gospel. God answered their prayers by sending young people to help the ministry and opening new areas for outreach.
Pastor Joseph has personally learned to stay strong in faith, be patient, and continue God’s work during hard times. One big challenge is that they do not have lot of resources to travel from one place to another. Some non-believers mocked them, but they kept going on foot.
Spiritually, the church is growing stronger, although they are currently struggling with some challenges. Since the beginning of his pastoral work, nine families have come to Christ. His church now has various needs. Pastor Joseph’s long-term vision is to train and send local believers to plant churches among unreached ethnic groups. He asks for prayer for the Bible college students and a new Gospel outreach team.
Prayer Requests
Please pray that Usha continues to grow in her knowledge of God’s Word, in her personal relationship with the Lord, and in His grace. Pray that God will use her more powerfully in women’s ministry in the days ahead. Pray that future gatherings (like the birthday party we shared at this month) open even more doors for the light of Christ to shine in the community. Last month God lead us to the western part of our country. We went to our Calvary Chapel church plant there with our Bible College students. Our students were so excited to hear stories about the church and how God is moving in that area. Our students went to a tribal people group. They preformed a dance, songs, skit and shared the gospel. They showed love and care for the people and prayed with them. The next day we had a youth conference. Over 60 teenagers and young adults came. We shared God’s Word with games with the young people. We had a great time of fellowship with them. The next day we did street evangelism close to the church. A lot of people loved to hear the Gospel and watch the skit. Our students learned to “GO” because God command us to “GO”. We have heard the Gospel and we were saved. Now God is building the same mindset in us. There are so many people in our country who haven’t heard the Gospel. One of the places where people live is in the Himalayan mountain range. A lot of people who live there have never heard the Gospel even once. God allowed us to go last month in March to the Himalayan mountains to share the Gospel. This area had hard trekking routes. Because of this, people do not want to go these places and the Gospel has not reached there. As a soldier of Christ we went there, not because we are strong, but because our God of love compels us to do so. Please pray for these Himalayan people to come to know God.
Soldiers for the People of the City
“For I have much people in this City”-Acts 18:10.
This verse remind us to do Gospel outreach in the city. We know street preachers are caught and sent to prison, but we preach in our Bible college courtyard. We ask our students as well as church believers to invite their family members, friends, and neighbors who have not received Christ as their Savior. Last week many people showed up in our courtyard to hear the Gospel. Our Bible school students did a skit, dances, and songs. We shared from God’s Word. One of the teenage girls received Christ as her personal Savior. One woman said that she will begin attending church every week. We see the harvest in city and it is ready. We pray that God pours His Spirit on us more and more. We see our students as future soldiers. They are trained for this war and believe that they will be doing the same things in their communities. We believe this verse, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. “-Acts 26:18. When we look around, we see so many different ways that He has been working. I will explain some of the ways of how He is working in our mist.
In Our Bible College:
Things are going differently in our country. Young adults want to go abroad to find jobs and to chase their dreams. We have seen a million people leave our country. But there are some young people who want to leave their homes and join Bible college. We see hope in our country that God is working in our mist. These young people are not perfect, but our perfect God has greater plan for these imperfect young people. This new semester 8 new students were admitted in our Bible college. Please pray that they grow in God’s Word and grace.
In Our Bible College Student’s Lives:
One of our Bible college students graduated a couple of months ago. He went to his hometown and started to share the Gospel. His name is Dhan. He received Christ when he was living at his sister’s house in the capital. He knew about our Bible college and came. 2 years later, after finishing Bible college, he went back to his village. While he was sharing Christ, he happened to meet one of the pastors of that area. That pastor invited him Church and asked him to teach in a house fellowship. Everyone in the fellowship was so blessed to hear Word from him. They had not thought that a young man could teach the Bible and open the scriptures in this way. Then the pastor asked him to teach in his youth meeting. Now the same pastor is asking him to teach in the main church service. Please pray for this young man. May God open the door for him to serve in the ways that God wants to use him.
In Our Bible College Community:
Our Bible college courtyard has become a blessing to our community. We did a couple of outreach programs there and invited the people of our community to come and enjoy the programs. We did Gospel songs, skits, and dances and shared the Gospel message. Since we had the programs, 2 brothers in our neighborhood started to come to church. They love having fellowship with us now. They are getting to know Christ and love to hang out with our students. We also made it open to the community to come and play table tennis in our courtyard, so that we can share Christ with them. Please pray that God may bring more young people to our courtyard ministry so that the students may have chances serve in and out of our Bible college.
Thank you,
Anand and Usha and Family

https://archive.sgwm.com/choudhary/choudhary/2024/03/29/but-the-word-of-god-grew-and-multiplied/

“But the Word of God grew and multiplied.”

Acts 12:24

It is always exciting to write about how our God is in our mist, and how His kingdom is flourishing. Now he is serving in the eastern part of the country as a Pastor in his community. He loves God and loves people. He went back home to help his father in ministry. While he was helping his father, he started to teach and share the Gospel. This has led so many people joining the church. There are now young people, old people, and people from many different tribes who are coming to Christ. Joshep got married and has a year old son. He loves to share the Gospel in the congregation as well as one-on-one. Last month, 17 people publicly made a commitment to Christ. Most of the people were young people. We believe that these things happen only because of the Spirit of God living in us. Despite the discrimination of the caste system (because the majority of people in the community are Hindu), the students love to tell people of every caste about God. It was not that we are good or experienced teachers, but that we know that the Holy Spirit was moving in most of us. We believe in prayer and that it was because of prayer as well. We thank God that it was more than mission, it was like a unknown family reunion before we are in heaven. 31 people came plus some others who were working in the kitchen. We had the chance to disciple all of them. Our time with them seemed so short, even though it was 3 days. We did not want to leave them and they did not want to leave us. It is when we can invite anyone in the community, our non-Christian friends and family to share with them about Christ. Every year we invite as many people as possible at Christmas. This year we had a lot of new people come to the Christmas outreach. We had little kids, young adults, and the elderly on Christmas day. On Christmas Eve all of our church members gathered together and sang Christmas songs. Many of us shared about how God is working our lives. It was a time of great joy. We also prayed together for the Christmas day outreach.
We could see how excited the people were to have a Christmas outreach. The church members were excited to sing, dance and bless the non-Christians. They had invited their in-laws, sisters, brothers, and friends. We could see that the church members are growing in the Lord, by seeing how they cared about their friends and family. Thank you God, for these church members who have a heart for the people! We heard testimonies of those who came about how they had heard the word “Christmas”, but never knew what it is all about. Thank you, God, for these new people.
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”-John 15:12-15.
New Joy:
It is always good to do new things as God guides. For the past couple of years we have been doing a Bible study in the Leprosy camp, but we had never done a Christmas party there. This year, while we were having Bible study, we asked “What do you want to do for Christmas?” They replied that they didn’t have any plans. So our team made a plan to feed them some special food and dessert. We were full of joy as we did this, because we had never done this kind of event before. We had also never had a Christmas party with this Bible study group. We were so joyful as we sang and danced and shared a Christmas sermon in the mist of these people. At the same time, we were able to give some of them audio Bibles. We are very thankful to the people who had been praying for them and provided us with audio Bibles. One elderly man in the leprosy colony came to us with an extremely old audio Bible. He asked me to fix his audio Bible. It was not working. I asked him “How many hours have you been listening to this?”
He answered “As much as I can, the whole day long.”
We said “We are sorry that you audio Bible is not working. We can’t fix it, but we can give you another.” He was full of so much joy to hear his new Bible. This made us even more joyful. Thank you, God, for using us in your ministry when we are joyful with the people, because you are the “Prince of Peace.”
“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:10-11.Prayer Requests
First of all thank you for praying for us, partnering with us, and sponsoring us.
Please pray that God will lead us into new places to do more short-term training. Please pray that the new people, who have been hearing the Gospel through our outreaches and the radio, may come to Christ. Please pray for the people of the leprosy colony. May they may grow in the Word and grace of Jesus Christ. We believe it is always God’s mission and we are just instruments of Him. We were in a place we had never been in the West. We were so excited to do this mission. Because of COVID-19, we have not been able to meet with our students, and some of our brothers, sisters, and graduates for a long time. Last month, we were blessed to have fellowship with them. Even more importantly than that, we were able to study the Gospel of Mark together. It is always great to encourage them that only what is done for Jesus is what matters. Not only to encourage them, but also to show them by our lives. We encourage them to live like Jesus and to serve like Jesus–no matter how hard life is. Seeing their need for the true Word of God and the opportunity to share from the book of Acts, we headed there. It was a 4 hour drive. When we started to teach, we saw that the people are extremely hungry for the Word of God. Even though it is so close to the Kathmandu valley, they have not gotten an opportunity to have a conference like this. We were so blessed to spend time with them for a couple of hours. After all of the effort we put out to go this place, we say, “lt was worth it.” We are also a missionary to them.
Prayer Requests: Please pray for the remote people we are ministering to. We use our Bible College facilities to host the people of the Church. For a long time, some of the families of the Church have wanted to stay for a couple of days with us in the Church. So, we asked them to come before Christmas so we could have fellowship, spend the night together, share our hearts, share testimonies, and hear the Word of God. It was a great blessing to be loved by the believers and to love the believers in this Christmas season. We had a great time cooking food for the people who were invited for the Christmas program. All together, there were 50 people who attended. Some were believers and some were non-believers. We had a Gospel sing, Gospel Dance, etc. We believe that Jesus was glorified in the midst of us. Praise God! All glory goes to God! One of the teenagers received Christ as their personal Savior. This is great news that we can share this Christmas. Also, some young men were restored in Christ (rededicated their lives). Please keep praying for these men.
Leprosy Outreach
We are able to go to the Leprosy colony again. Thank you all for your prayers. It is always awesome to do ministry every time when we go there. The people were so happy to see us again and thankful for the help we brought. Because of Covid, they have not been able to see any visitors. The people who help were not allowed to come in.
Right before they sealed the leper colony we took half of the Bible College food there (from the leftover food after we sent the students home due to the lock-down). We believe it has been really a big help to them. They thought that, because of Covid, there would be no guests to help them with things. The situation was bad. But God had moved us to go there and again helped us to share the Gospel and food. We’ve been praying for these people and for ideas on how to reach them for a long time now. We asked one of our neighbors, who is a farmer and has lived here for a long time in our community, for help. The farmer accompanied us to the slum and introduced us to families there. Thank God that He has arranged this friendship with the farmer so that we could make a connection with the people in the slum. There are almost 25 families who live there, along with some married couples and some single people. We were surprised to find out that all of these families are from the same tribe (people group) called, “Tharu” which is a similar tribe that I come from, except they are from West Nepal and I am from the East. It was really fun to be able to communicate with them in the Tharu language, which is also our mother tongue! These people are making toys in their houses to earn some money because the lockdown shut down all of the businesses. Once they heard about the food relief distribution we wanted to do there, they were all so happy! When we hosted the food relief outreach, they all had big smiles and we were able to share Jesus with them. Everyone was so thankful for the food packages they received. We are hoping to be able to spend more time with them in the future and disciple those who have decided to give their life to Christ.
Rejected But Accepted “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
During the past couple of months, people have been suffering because of this lockdown. But the people who help just want to take pictures to show whatever they give, which makes some people feel uneasy. So, when we arrive there with food packages, they refused to let us take photos. They told us that if we were going to take photos then they wouldn’t take any rice from us. We respected their request of not taking photos and still loved to give the relief food. After a couple of days, we visited again to host a Bible study, and they were so surprised by us that they requested us to take photos with them! Our new friends have been coming to Bible study every time we are able to visit with them. Praise God! We seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. When we shared the Gospel in the Leprosy Colony last month, a man named Edda gave his life to Jesus! It was evident that the Lord had been preparing his heart for a long time. Edda has a Christian neighbor who has shared with him many times. We know that some sow, some water and we got to see a harvest of souls. All glory goes to God for this new brother Edda.
Raising Up Pastors & Leaders [caption id=“attachment_10” align=“alignright” width=“300”] Graduates[/caption]
We are so grateful for what God is doing here. We are investing our lives with many students who have become like family to us. We know it is because of the grace of God poured out on us.
It is so amazing that God has allowed me to serve in the Calvary Chapel Pastor Training Center and School of Ministry as a teacher and as a brother to the students and staff as well. Even more than that, I rejoice that God has brought students that we are watching grow in the Word of God, who all have hearts for lost souls. It is a great joy that two students (Majhiya and Raju) have graduated this week. We have seen these students grow. They are zealous for the Kingdom of God.
“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2 Thank you for your prayers and support,
Anand, Usha, Asher and Amos

https://archive.sgwm.com/choudhary/choudhary/2018/11/21/8/

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As you may know, there is a very small percentage of people in our country that are Christian. The majority of the population are Hindu and Buddhist and most have never heard the Word of God taught verse by verse. There are people listening from all levels of society, including those who are in jail.
